'The Dream Building' is part of the ‘States 23’ Prints collection. This piece was taken while Dominik was exploring New York City in November 2023. He captured these images while he was on one of many of his breathtaking New York City photo walks. This is a collection of his favorite shots taken. This photo was taken at 6:30 am on a quiet Tuesday morning while Dominik was in search of his morning dose of caffeine in Upper midtown Manhattan.

The romanticized vision of New York City is in full swing throughout this photo. The rising steam captures the viewer's eyesight. The subtle wording of dream on the white banner gives the real sense that Dominik has captured a beautiful moment in time. At this time the city is in a state of sleep and rest, with millions of residents dreaming. Within hours the city will again come to life and those residents who were fast asleep will now awaken to chase their dreams within the concrete jungle.
