'Midtown Sun' is part of the ‘States 23’ Prints collection. This piece was taken while Dominik was exploring New York City in November 2023. He captured these images while he was on one of many of his breathtaking New York City photo walks. This is a collection of his favorite shots taken. 'Midtown Sun' was taken while Dominik was on an early morning walk. He wanted the city to be still and not full of New Yorkers running around their everyday busy lives. The photograph shows another side of New York. The sun can kiss the city and create an elegant connection between the stillness of the city and Mother Nature.

This is the other side of New York City. It is not always cold and full of millions of chaotic people everywhere. It can be a very still and warm, beautiful city. The mixture of the old world touching the new world is evident. The dated lamp poles and traffic lights connect with the modern-day skyscrapers and architecture to show what is special about New York City.
