Ganesh (also spelled Ganesa or Ganesha and known as Ganapati, Vinayaka and Pillaiyar) is the Lord of Good Fortune who provides prosperity, fortune and success. He is the Lord of Beginnings and the Remover of Obstacles of both material and spiritual kinds.

I have portrayed Lord Ganesha with orange and green clothes Orange symbolizes purity, peace, auspiciousness and truthfulness. Green is a festive color which represents life and happiness. Ganpati paintings are considered auspicious and are believed to keep away negative vibes or energy.

Lord Ganesha is known as Vighnaharta. So, when you worship Lord Ganesha with complete faith, he guides you towards the right path. He gives you the courage to conquer your fears and overcome all obstacles in your life. Many believe that having them around will lead to the successful completion of tasks.

May the blessings of Lord Ganesha be with you and your family forever. Lord Ganesha whose brilliance is equal to billions of suns in intensity. This painting of Ganesha is very close to my heart and nothing makes me so happy as to observe my own creativity.

I have put life and depth on this work with texture clay and very minimal colors. I have used oil, acrylic, clay and plaster of Paris to define each and every element of this work. My focus was on giving perfection to Lord’s eyes. If you would have observed Lord Ganesh's small eyes are sharp, they tell us about his focused approach to achieve anything and looking at the details with concentration.
