Abstract Acrylic Painting

My painting represents the unity of UAE. The colors used in the painting are taken from the UAE flag and it tells a story. The black represents the strength and solidarity of our people in defeating any enemy, red is our blood that we are willing to sacrifice to keep our country unified and free. The white is the peace we have in our land and the hospitality of our people. The green which is represented in Ghaf leaf, from the national tree of the UAE and the unity of the family. You will also notice that the red and black has been positioned like a shield that is protecting the land and the people. If you look closer, the black also represents the “Beshet” - the gown- which is worn by men during celebration. And the reason I have put white lines in black to show that even when we fight, we fight with honor and mercy when it’s needed. Finally, the gold on the “borkoa” - the woman face cover - is how UAE will always shine.
