Los Angeles Photography Print

'Afternoon Sun' was captured when Dominik was exploring Los Angeles in June of 2023. This piece is part of the ‘States 23’ Collection. Dominik captured these shots while he was exploring LA on a photo walk. He has produced his favorite photographs from this journey to create this collection. This photo was captured as Dominik was walking from Santa Monica to Venice Beach. He wanted to photograph the beautiful vibe and aesthetic of Los Angeles. He loved the vibrant orange and brown tones painting the picture.

The palm trees are an icon in themselves in Los Angeles. If someone were to visit, they would be able to grasp the overwhelming size of the beach and the vast quantities of sand. It was important that he was able to capture both the palm trees and the radiant sun closer to the midpoint of the frame. As Dominik was walking he couldn’t stop taking photos of the beautiful landscape in front of him. Dominik Zky - ‘More than just a Photo’.
