This piece began with an exploration of a dreamlike, abstract background—soft layers of color and texture coming together in an intuitive, expressive way. I allowed the composition to unfold freely, focusing on creating a sense of calm, lightness, and quiet emotion. The blending hues and gentle forms were guided by feeling rather than structure, shaping an atmosphere that feels both serene and otherworldly. As the background evolved, the presence of warblers emerged within the composition. Their delicate forms and subtle movement brought a sense of life and balance to the piece. I focused on capturing their lightness and grace, allowing them to exist harmoniously within the soft, dreamlike environment. Through this work, I hope to offer a moment of stillness—a gentle escape into a world where nature feels intimate, and time slows down.
